Bob Yanda of Monticello, Iowa is a biological farming consultant and agri-businessman, founder, president and manager of Midwestern Bio-Ag of Iowa, a Midwestern Bio-Ag satellite.
A graduate of Iowa State University with a degree in dairy nutrition, Bob was a dairy farmer and alfalfa grower who adopted the biological farming philosophy before becoming a Midwestern Bio-Ag consultant in 1988, and a certified consultant in 1997. Over the years his skill set has grown to include expertise in soils, fertilizers, and row crops (including corn, soybeans, and wheat). In addition to his management duties, he is still a hands-on consultant, working all types of farms including many large crop farms in Iowa, Minnesota, the Dakotas and north to Canada. Bob is also a well-known speaker to farm audiences across the U.S. and in Australia and South Africa.
