Bio-Ag Corn Growing Program
A Program for Growing Corn Considering Quality and Yield

1. Test soils for complete mineral balance.

2. Check previous practices:
       a. Rotation
       b. Tillage
       c. Manure Use
       d. Stalk Removal
       e. Nitrogen use- source & amount
       f. Starter use- how much, which one

3. If no manure and no rotation:
       a. It is hard to drop insecticides.
       b. Use more nitrogen and starter.
       c. If soil test is low, a corrective may be necessary
           (Bio-Cal, potassium sulfate).
           In most cases fertilization is all that is necessary.
