MBA Micro-Pack
MBA's Micro-Pack is a homogenous blend with an analysis of:
5% Nitrogen 5% Phosphate 5% Potash
6% Calcium 2.5% Magnesium 12% Sulfur
1.5% Boron 1% Copper 1% Iron 1.5% Manganese and 2% Zinc
Micro-Pack has a pH of 5 to 5 ½, a pH where trace minerals are most available in the soil.
The key to the success of Midwestern Bio Ag's Micro-Pack starts with all pulverized ingredients. Through an elaborate four-step process, Micro-Pack is a blend of precise amounts of primary, secondary, and micronutrients, fused to form multi-nutrient granules roughly the size of BB's.
Each individual granule is a complete package of nutrients you need for healthy crops, and all of the granules are uniform in size, shape, and weight, so they spread evenly to maximize distribution. These granules also deliver the nutrients within the all-important root zone. Whether you broadcast or apply it in-row, fertilizing with MBA's Micro-Pack gives your crops just the right amount of nutrients they need to thrive.
Applied at 70 lbs/acre, MicroPack supplies 30 granules of homogenized NPK & traces per square foot. That is at least 10 times more coverage than applying individual trace ingredients, a big benefit when determining the value and efficiency of the product you used. It also means fewer hot spots that could potentially deliver an overdose to your plants.
MicroHume®
Midwestern Bio-Ag's MicroHume® is a homogenous blend with an analysis of 5% Calcium, 8% Sulfur, 2% Boron, 1% Copper, 2% Manganese, and 3% Zinc. This MBA product has a pH of 5.
With Midwestern Bio-Ag's MicroHume®, one of the keys to why it works so well is that the process starts with crushing all of the ingredients to a very fine 200 mesh. Next, the ingredients are blended together to form multi-nutrient granules roughly the size of BB's. Every individual granule is a complete package of trace minerals along with the calcium and sulfur you need for healthy crops. The granules are uniform in size, shape, and weight, so they spread evenly to maximize distribution. These granules deliver the proper trace mineral nutrients amount along with humates in the all-important root zone.
MicroHume® is designed to be mixed with other NPK fertilizer ingredients and then broadcast or applied in-row. MicroHume® is formulated so that it can be used in both organic and conventional agriculture.
MicroHume® contains sulfur in the sulfate form from both the trace minerals and from a sulfur source that naturally mined from an ancient volcanic cone. This source of sulfur comes at a 3 pH which keeps the final pH of the blend at 5. This low pH helps to make the trace minerals more available in the soil.
HumaCal™
Midwestern Bio-Ag's HumaCal™ is a homogenous blend of humates, calcium and sulfur. The analysis is 18% calcium and 5% sulfur, with a pH of 5.5 to 6.
HumaCal™ is formulated so it can be used in organic (OMRI allowed) and non-organic agriculture alike.
HumaCal™ is a unique synergistic pelletized humic product with calcium and sulfur that provides nutrients, chelating agents, buffering properties, and biological stimulation.
Humates are an important addition to fertilizer because they aid in plant uptake of soil nutrients such as calcium, phosphorus, manganese, zinc, and other macro / micro nutrients. Humates also help to build CEC in soil and to improve nutrient holding capacity and reduce leaching. Humates are also acidifying (they have a low pH), which helps to release nutrients in the soil for plant utilization.
HumaCal™ is unique in that it can supply a low pH calcium product that will not raise the pH of your soil. Farmers are often reluctant to apply calcium to high pH soils out of the fear that it will raise the pH further. However, just because the soil has a high pH, it doesn't mean your crop is getting enough available calcium. HumaCal™ is an effective way to apply plant-available calcium while not raising your soil pH.
