Douglas C. Rosenberg is a business leader and philanthropist based in Marin County, CA.
He founded and actively manages the Rosenberg Alzheimer’s Project, which supports the work of scientists pursuing novel therapies and those working to reduce the cost and time involved in developing potential cures. In addition to direct grants, the Project provides in-kind support, including legal counsel for intellectual property protection, business development, fund-raising assistance, communications assistance, and project management.
Through his real estate development firm, The Rosenberg Company, he helped lead the rejuvenation of San Francisco’s SoMa district; his efforts preceded the technology boom and the development of what is now known as AT&T Park. He was involved in all phases of the business cycle, from ground-up development, to the careful and respectful renovation of historic buildings.
Rosenberg holds a Political Science degree from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, OR.
