ROSCOE, IL – Midwestern BioAg, Inc. welcomes Becca Sprague to its 2016 internship program. A Roscoe, Illinois, native, Sprague will work closely with Midwestern BioAg’s Research and Marketing departments at the company’s headquarters in Madison, Wisconsin.
Sprague is a member of Sprague Farms, an 80-year-old operation that spans 500 acres in Winnebago County, Illinois. She is currently a senior studying Agricultural Business at the University of Wisconsin–Platteville. Sprague will graduate in fall 2017.
“Agriculture has always been an important part of my life. Both sides of my family come from multigenerational farming families,” said Sprague. “I look forward to my summer with Midwestern BioAg and learning more about the fertilizer industry.”
A passionate dairy industry advocate, Sprague has shown cattle since age 7 at the county, district, state, national and international levels. Shows include the North American International Livestock Exposition (NAILE), World Dairy Expo and the Illinois Holstein State Show. She also has experience showing pigs and was recently appointed the PeeWee Showmanship Chair for Boone County, Illinois.
