Midwestern BioAg’s offering of field-proven products feed a balanced mineral diet to the soil and crop which stimulates soil life and enhances nutrient-use efficiency. Our products and approach address a farm’s yield-limiting factors with balanced fertilizer blends that go beyond NPK to include calcium, sulfur, and micronutrients, such as boron, magnesium and manganese.

Summary

Midwestern BioAg is looking for a qualified sales associate to assist in various stages of the sales funnel, including but not limited to creating awareness of offerings, generating leads, and maintaining customer relationships.

The ideal candidate will be energetic and creative with a can-do attitude. The sales associate will gain hands-on experience in a leading sustainable-agriculture and plant-nutrient company working on challenging, meaningful projects with guidance from experienced sales consultants and other members of our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Consistently update and maintain the customer relationship management (CRM) database to track sales and customer interaction
  • Assist sales consultants with scheduling and recording interface with customers
  • Position yourself as a point of contact for customers to reach sales consultants if they are unavailable
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Experience in and passion for sustainability
  • Major in sales, advertising, marketing, agriculture, business, or related field
  • 3.0 GPA or higher
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Experience with PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, and ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license a plus
