MAP

Monoammonium phosphate (MAP) is Midwestern BioAg’s main source of soluble phosphorus when formulating standard non-organic fertilizer blends. It commonly contains 10 to 11 units of nitrogen, 50 to 52 units of phosphorus and has a pH of 4 to 4.5. We recommend applying MAP over diammonium phosphate (DAP) for three key reasons: MAP reduces free ammonia in the soil, encourages more phosphorus uptake and enhances micronutrient availability in the soil.
