Midwestern BioAg (MBA), a pioneer in biological and regenerative agriculture, is entering a new era focused on strengthening its core technologies, empowering trusted partners, and ensuring growers across the Midwest and High Plains have access to the agronomy tools and expertise they need to thrive.

As part of this transition, operations at MBA’s former Kinde, Michigan, facility will now be managed locally by Morgan Composting, Inc. In addition, MBA’s Minnesota and Iowa facilities were recently transitioned to current channel partner Grow Source earlier this month; further strengthening localized support for growers through an established partner network.

“This moment is less about one facility and more about a strategic shift,” said Gaji Balakaneshan, CEO of Midwestern BioAg. “We’re returning to the roots our company was built on—supporting farmers through local, knowledgeable agronomy and retail partners. By focusing on our strengths, MBA is better positioned than ever to deliver value to growers in every region we serve.”

For more than 40 years, MBA has led the way in soil health innovation, providing farmers with advanced fertility products and agronomic insights. That legacy continues today as the company invests in new product development, expands training and education for regional partners, and prepares to introduce the next generation of solutions to help farmers achieve healthier soils and higher yields.

“This is the beginning of a renewed chapter for MBA,” added Balakaneshan. “We’re committed to working alongside trusted partners who share our vision for farmer success and soil health—ensuring that every farm has access to the tools and expertise they need, close to home. And this is only the beginning, we have a lot of exciting announcements coming, and the market will want to keep a close eye on what’s next from MBA.”

Over the next few months, Midwestern BioAg will roll out nearly a dozen new products, including a breakthrough first-in-its-category innovation.

With major product innovations on the horizon, the Midwestern BioAg leadership team is available to discuss emerging trends in soil health, fertility efficiency, and biological inputs shaping the next generation of agriculture.
