When Gary Zimmer and our other founders started this company, their mission was clear: deliver products and insights that couldn’t be found anywhere else. This mission remains at the core of everything we do.
Over the years, many of our fertilizers we helped pioneer became widely available. While we’re proud to have sparked that change, our next chapter is about focus – on our differentiated offerings, our proven products, and our commitment to partnering with those who believe in what we do. That means shifting our retail operations back to trusted channel partners and doubling down on what we do best.

The ag industry talks a lot about ROI – and rightly so. Yield is critical. But yield alone doesn’t tell the full story. Agronomy is like a team sport. You can apply more nitrogen, but if potassium levels are low, that nitrogen might not deliver. That’s why context is key – and it’s what we specialize in.
One of the things I’ve come to appreciate most is this: we don’t just fix soil problems; we fix the problems others ignore. Because they can’t solve them, they assume they can’t be solved. As our Director of Research put it well: most growers are forced to “farm around the problem.”
