Balakaneshan Begins as Vice President of Finance at Midwestern BioAg

BLUE MOUNDS, WIS. – Gaji Balakaneshan, CFA of Schaumburg, Ill. begins as Vice President of Finance for Midwestern BioAg. He brings over 13 years of experience in strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, sales and operations planning, financial modeling and analysis.

Keeping Midwestern BioAg’s mission of sustainability in agriculture closely in mind, Balakaneshan will help to unify and better connect the finance department to plant locations.

Previously, Balakaneshan worked with CF Industries in multiple roles including Product Manager, Corporate Strategy and Development Manager and Senior Financial Analyst. There, he was leading their UAN group and oversaw more than $1BN in North American projects. Prior to that, he spent three years at Elevance Renewable Sciences in Woodridge, Ill. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Tufts University in Boston, Mass.

Balakaneshan begins his role on March 15, officing out of Blue Mounds, Wis.
